Mandatory Winter Drumline/Guard Parent Meeting

We are hosting a Mandatory parent meeting for our Winter Drumline/Guard shows at 7 pm in the Theater/Choir Room (drumline/guard will be in different rooms) to discuss our requested per family donation amounts and volunteer needs for the winter season.
We expect that our per family donation request will be between $1200 to $1500 for the winter season (Colorguard B team will be less, likely ~$800). The Booster Board is meeting on Monday 11/26 to finalize the winter budget and determine our exact donation needs. We will present these numbers at this meeting.
We are holding the meeting earlier than in past years to ensure that each family is aware of the costs involved in our winter program and can make a decision on if they want to participate prior to the 2nd semester class schedule deadline.
If your student makes one of our winter performance teams and you choose to participate, we will be requesting a mandatory costume fitting/travel fee of approximately $400 due at the first fitting (early December). The initial fitting/travel fee will be incorporated into the overall per family requested amount of $1200 – $1500.
The costs associated with running the winter program include paying for the coaching staff, uniforms, flags, floors, props, entrance fees and likely busing for this year. Our program relies mainly on parent support and some grants/sponsorships. We understand that not every family can afford these costs and we can discuss options for helping you meet our funding needs.
It is important to have at least ONE parent from every family at this meeting. WE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE to make this contest a successful one.
